What is in a CBD mylar bag
Mylar is the trade name for a polyester film. The bags that work are multi-layer laminates: a polyester outer for print and strength, an aluminium or metallised barrier layer that blocks light and oxygen, and a food-grade polyethylene inner that heat seals. Thickness is specified in mil. Thinner film is cheaper and fine for flower moving fast; thicker film holds edibles and pre-ground product longer.
Sizing
Sizes are named by product weight, not bag dimensions. A 3.5g bag holds an eighth of flower with room to seal. Send the product, the weight and whether it is flower, edibles or pre-rolls, and we will match the bag.
Hemp and CBD labelling
CBD products cross state lines, which means labelling rules from more than one state can apply to the same bag. We leave panel space at design stage rather than squeezing it in later.
