Custom printed PP boba cupsPrinted PP cups, clear or frosted
Polypropylene is the boba cup. It takes dry-offset print in up to six colours, tolerates warm drinks, heat-seals cleanly and costs less than PET. Custom frosted cups are the same PP with a matte finish, which hides fingerprints and makes white ink pop.

Glass-clear, so the drink is the design. Best for iced coffee, juice and layered drinks. Custom 16 oz plastic cups are the workhorse size. Print in one to four colours. Pairs with flat or dome lids rather than film.

What prints well on a plastic cup
Dry offset on PP is a spot-colour process. Logos, patterns and flat illustrations look excellent. Photographs and soft gradients do not, and we will tell you before you pay for a proof. Keep type above 6 pt and give the print a 5 mm clear zone below the rim so the seal is not printing over ink.
Custom plastic cups with lids
Flat, dome and sip lids in the same 90 mm and 95 mm sizes, ordered with the cup so they fit. Custom disposable plastic cups without a matching lid are how a bar ends up with a shelf of the wrong ones.
Bulk custom plastic cups for business
One pallet is the minimum, and the price per cup keeps dropping through 20,000 and 50,000. Custom plastic cups with logo for a chain, a stadium concession or a festival are quoted on the annual total. Reusable custom stadium cups in thick PP are on the same press.

Once the plates exist, every location orders from the same run. We hold the artwork, you tell us the store and the quantity, and the cups ship the same way each time. That is the point of a recurring product.
Custom plastic cups FAQ
PP or PET, which should I order?
PP if you seal with film, print in solid colours, or serve anything hot-ish like a warm boba. PET if you want a glass-clear cup and the drink is cold. PET does not take heat-seal film as well as PP.
Will they seal on my machine?
If the rim matches. Sealing machines are built around 90 mm or 95 mm cups. Tell us which you run and we make the cup and the film to it.
What is the minimum?
10,000 per size. Mixed sizes are quoted separately because each size is its own mould and print setup.
Can you print the sealing film too?
Yes. Film comes on rolls of roughly 2,000 to 3,000 seals, printed full colour, matched to the cup rim.
Are the cups recyclable?
PP is resin code 5 and PET is code 1. Both are accepted by most US curbside programmes, though whether a given city recycles them is up to the city. We can add the code and a rinse-and-recycle mark to the print.
